    You shouldn't! They'll order it from you, after all they make money.

    Hey guys..

    These corals are really ticking me off! Our toadstool has been doing awesome lately, but today and yesterday it didnt/hasnt opened!!

    And our candycane looks like crap! What gives!

    Should we be measuring for calcium and others? I dont want to yet because we dont have any tough corals really

    If your trates are low you should buy it. Just do pwc more often for a while and you shouldnt have problems with it. Also, just move the candycane around a bit, it will open up eventually. I dont know about the toadstool though, never had one.

    Trates are low i think. We will test and pwc today.

    I dont have a ph test, or any of the reef tests yet!! I was waiting for my bday in april..:p

    What test kit are you using? pH is VERY important. Low pH can kill corals.

    Well how do you even change ph?? Ours in my area is high though.

    API. i know its just a 5 dollar ph bottle! I need to get it!

    Yeah it's very important. To raise and set pH you can use a marine buffer. I use kent marine buffer regularly to keep my pH and alk up. Without it my pH is at 7.4. Plus my salt mix has NO alk.

    It will raise pH to 8.3 and then raise alkalinity to keep it at 8.3. Awesome stuff.
