    Why isnt your ph stable? How do the alk and ph drop so often?

    I always though buffers were overrated and a stable ph was better..? Thanks for giving me more to think about man!

    No problem. My pH fluctuates because I have a low alk salt mix. The buffer keeps it stable.

    Update..

    Went to the store the other day to blow $20 but they had nothing! Really lame. So! We have been just saving up:) going to get some good stuff this weekend..no fish though.

    Did our water change yesterday. Candycane looks like crap and the toadstool hasnt opened in 2 days..yippie

    Pics....?:0 I wads see this crap coral. I wouldn't be surprised if it has to do with pH. Can you have your lf test pH for you?

    Yeah they seem to be closed up a bit.
    I'd boil it down to low alk and pH swings. And if that's not it then I'm not sure:/ you light want to start a thread on it to see what other members think.
