    I dont get it!!!

    Got the SG up to around 24 the other day after the dip, and after testin today its at 22!! WHY? there has been no evaporation, no changes..and it has just dropped!

    Dip? Are you using a refractometer? Is it calibrated?

    Yes we have a refractometer. Im not sure how to calibrate it without fluid though. They didnt give us any

    Yeah that's the issue. Refractometer a should be calibrated before each use. Try calibrating it to zero with some rodi water.

    I'm not to sure about that one though. You can keep the trates down w/o a skimmer.

    Ok, i calibrated. Thing is, it was off by 2. So does that mean if my reading was 22 that its actually 20?!?
