    Before you say no to a DSB, watch nyseelo's youtube video's about them. That convinced me that I want one the next time I set up a tank. They can be very beneficial actaully if you set them up right. It is hydrogen sulfide that can be released if you disturb the sand bed as well. I would look up his youtube channel though if you already haven't.

    a few bumps here and there wont hurt you, its the major raking of the sand or something crazy like that.
