I'm not sure 66 gallons is really big enough for a tang honestly. I lost a yellow tang a few months ago in my 40 because it got to stressed out. I guess I would just make sure you do plenty of research before buying one.

Gallons don't really matter, it's how open your tank is. Mattias, is the 66 38"? That would be way too small for a tang :/

Convicts are a little more hardy compared to other tags, not sure why..

 

Yeah this is a 38" long tank. 48" is a minimum IMO. MAYBE. A small bristle or kole tang.
