So ive had this GBTA for about 2 months now. You can see my signature for tank setup. Its been doing great but lately its looking a bit weird. The past few days i have seen it fully enclose where no tentacles are visible (i know this happens but i have never seen it do it and recently its been doing it a ton). Also the bulbs/tentacles r very small.

And lastly it has definately gotten more green over time. You can see the difference in shape and color between the pics. Whats going on with it?

It is just deflating it self. It is kinda like your respiratory system slowed down. It breaths in and fills with water and then breaths out and expels the waste water. It should swell up soon and will continue to do this like every anemone.

There are any number of things that could be wrong with the nem, if there is anything wrong at all, but the best solution, no matter what the issue, is to find it a proper home. Find a nice looking coral to take it's place and every living creature involved will be happier... you, the nem, and everything else in your tank. Just my opinion.

(learned the hard way after a long battle to get my BTA out safely)

That's fair. I just always feel the need to warm people. It is a beauty for sure.

Yup its all good. Suprisingly my blood fire shrimp molted over night and I dont know how, but the molted antennas somehow reached my anemone and he is currently eating them...

The nem looks fine. Aquariaman hit it on the head with what he said. You only need to worry if the foot rips, or if it starts to turn "inside out" and looks like its eating itself. They go through little phases, I'm sure all will be well in time.
