Gbta opens at night only

Well I noticed my gbta is only open at night. Its only been in my tank for probably 5 days, so I assume its still acclimating? Its weird bc during the day its deflated, but at night its full and open.

 

is there a drastic lighting difference between where you bought it from and your current lights (assuming you bought it local). If your lights are a lot stronger than the others it may be taking time to adjust to your lighting setup

 

Good call truespeed, never crossed mmy mind. Huge difference in lighting, its got more color now too sinnce I brought it home. I wonder if I should shorten my light cycle...

 

More color is always a plus. How is the color looking?

 

Good as far as I can tell. I don't see it when the lights are on, only when the lights are off so I can't make out a lot of color. I can tell it is greener though.

 

Well I'm suprised, I got my gf to go look at it and its open. Here's a picture.

 

has it always been in this position (bottom of tank?) or was it up higher when it wouldnt open?

 

Its always been down there, it was on the other side of the rock to its right though.
