So after I ripped my BTA's foot and it healed its been about a month and he is still attached to the wall of my tank and towards the top back where there is less light. I know its not normal and nems just do there own thing but any opinions why it would still be doing this?

My bulbs are ATI T5's less then 3 months old so not enough light shuoldnt be a issue.

It is normal. He will move where he pleases. Maybe the flow is more suitable to his taste there, maybe he grabs more nutrients, maybe the light is to his liking.

Whatever it is don't move him, you can try moving your powerheads though.

    Also try feeding him.

I have one MP40 I took the other PH's off my tank.

I have been he is looking good and opening up fully every day but lost his bubble tips. The issue is going to come on sun when the tank has to be moved cause most of the water is going ot be drained so I think that I will use ice to get him to release and put him lower in my tank. I hope the poor little guy is going to be okay on a 10 mile trip.:-[
