So i gave my new anemone a half of a silverside today, it ate it i thought, but when i got home just now the silverside is hanging out of the anem like it puked it up or something?

Should i be worried? Should i not feed it silversides?'

My guess is that it was just 2 big of a piece? so it spit it out? Maybe i will try a 1/4 size piece next time instead of a half a silverside. I guess looking back now the half silverside did look about the same as the diamater of the anem.

Does this sound right? Or could it be something else?

Sounds like too big of piece of food and possibly too soon.

So how bad is it that it threw up? I used to keep snakes and i know that feeding 2 big a rat and having them regurg it could in some cases kill them.

So should i be worried? Will make sure to feed much smaller piece next time. Will wait a few weeks before i try again. Then what like once a week?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Not unusual, tiny pieces less than 1/4 inch are best, try not to feed the heads of the fish. Make sure it's completely thawed. Once every 2 weeks is sufficient IME.

Corailline, can the heads hurt them? I feed the heads quite often (smelt). Should I not be doing this?

usually, if i give my nems a piece that is too large, they will just release it and not even try to consume it.
