After some major changes, my tank is finally turning the corner. I look forward to sharing more pics in the future as the colors progress.

some massive colonies in there Greg

it is hard to get size perspective from images, so can you indicate the sizes of some of those SPS colonies please

and some close ups of individual corals would also be appreciated

No kidding on the massive SPS colonies... they look like what you might see when snorkeling/diving in tropical seas! I too would love to see some close-ups.

That is some awesome growth. One of my have tanks i've seen in awhile. It looks like a reef, not a man made reef all laid out perfect.. kudos for that, looks great.

Looks good Greg. What happened to the tank, if you don't mind me asking?

The tank looks great for just having turned a corner Greg. Love those massive colonies.

    Thanks for the compliments guys.

That efflo is the $500 efflo and it is approx 16" in diameter. A little history and friend of mine Roland (aka: Old Yeller Tang) had the only frag of the $500 efflo prior to it being sold to Steve Weast. When Roland tore his 240g tank down he gave the colony to one guy and a frag to Steve Tyree. The guy who had the colony lost the colony and Steve Tyree had the only frag in exhistance. When roland set up his new tank, he went back to Tyree and half of the frag that he gave Tyree. When cutting the 1/2" frag, a small 1/8" frag broke off. Roland called me and brought that small piece for safe keeping. The frag literaly had 4 polyps. That was nearly 5-6 years ago. I would guess it is the largest colony of $500 efflo in exhistance.

The red table is approx 12" x 6".

On the sand is the Miami Hurricane/Pumpkin Patch chalice. It is approx 12" in diameter and there is a second colony that is approx 9" in diameter up on the rocks.

Unfortunately My largest efflo colony was lost. It was approx 24" in diameter, but it did not survive the move back from my friends house. I still have a large stag colony at my friends that was not doing too well so I did not risk moving it over. I have been told that it is healthy so I may move it back soon. After loosing the efflo, I did not want to risk it.

I will get some colony pics up in the near future.
