    GOT A NEW RO/DI FILTER AND EVERY SINCE I STARTED USING IT, I STARED HAVING GREEN HAIR ALGAE PROBLEMS WHAT SHOULD I CHECK IN THE RO FILTER OR SHOULD I REPLACE ALL THE FILTERS. I ONLY HAD IT FOR 3 MONTHS NOW:Looking::Looking:

    Hello, it all depends on how much you are using it. The filters have a "life" to them. The best way to determine when to change the filters is to purchase a TDS meter. I have one that is set up to show the "water in" and "water out" readings. When you start getting readings on your "out water" is is time to change either the resin and/or one of the other filters. The rest turn color to indicate it is time to change. I have a 5 stage.

    +2 on the TDS check. I just added a second DI to my Typhoon III because our water around here is so bad.

    It could just be the timing, maybe you were due for a breakout.
