I got the O.N. Formula two and spirulina cubes and have been experimenting different ways of feeding them to my tang. None of which work really well. If I get the spirulina cube to the right consistency where its like sludge then i can use a turkey baster, but usually it gets too thin and wisps away into the tank. My kole freaking LOVES eating out of the turkey baster. he attacks it ferociously anytime i put it into the tank, even if I'm just blasting some GHA off a rock. Anyway, the turkey baster technique takes time, and I'm trying to figure out a way to feed the lil bugger when I'm in a hurry in the mornings. When I drop one of the gel encapsulated cubes in he will bite it a few times on its way down then I'm pretty sure he disregards it. He won't eat nori anymore, atleast not really, he will taste it occasionally. Has anyone had some success with gel encapsulated foods? BTW I soak in garlic already. Mainly what I've been feeding him(just because its easy to feed with baster) is hikari brine/spirulina frozen cubes. He tears it up, but I worry about him eating too much meat. :-/

I may be wrong as I just got this food myself for the first time and have not tried this yet. I was thinking of spreading it on the rock for my foxface to graze on through out the day.

let it thaw in a little bit of tank water for 5 minutes. After it's thawed, just squoosh it in your fingers so it's many smaller pieces.

Spread it on the rocks?? you're gonna have to let me know if that works heh. My foxface tears the crap outta some nori, and everything else I put in there. Just trying to give my tang a few more sources of food. At least until I get my macro farm going.
