    Georgia Aquarium just got a new Manta Ray this week that weighs in at 425 lbs! Check out the Manta Ray be delivered into the aquarium below. 8)

They grow to 5 metres in width and weigh several hundred kgs. They are a not-to-be-forgotten experience for any snorkeller or diver who is fortunate enough to see one while underwater.[/FONT]

    Wow - we really need to take a road trip there. Jwin wants to do the Journey with Gentle Giants where you can actually dive in the whale shark tank.

    That journey with the giants thing is like $260 though ::) I'd love to do that, though.

    Amazing. So many questions though. Did they QT? Looked like it was going into a QT tank then all of a sudden it was in the DT. How do you acclimate a monster like that? Hang the bag on the side of the tank?

    Day trip is done! We decided to make a little trip to the GA Aquarium in Atlanta today. Neat place - FANTASTIC reef tank - probably the best I've ever seen in a public aquarium-type place. We saw the manta - it stayed clear of the glass so I didn't get a good shot, but here's a few other pictures!

    I need to make a trip back there. It is the best aquarium I have been to. Very nice. Thanks for the find matt.
