    Im getting a free skimmer today. :) i was wondering if i could hook up my return pump (came off an old skimmer) and still have it pump water into my DT. IT doesnt have a pump with it. IT also is an in sump skimmer.

    if your return has enough flow, yes, you can tee it off to run reactors, skimmers, etc.

    it depends on the sort of In-sump skimmer it is, you're not using your return pump for flow in the tank (I hope) and you dont need to run alot of water through the skimmer you just need it to stay in there longer.
