I just moved to a 55G about 4 months ago. I got a call from my wife today, one of her co workers has a 150G she wants to get rid of at a good price. I am going to get it tomorrow. I have been kicking around the idea of moving up to a 120G, which would allow me to continue to use my current pumps and wave makers. But I would have to upgrade my protein skimmer. With the 150 I will have to upgrade everything again. I like the dimensions of the 120, but I haven't seen the 150 yet. So I am debating on getting the 150 and seeing if I can trade it for a 120, or just keeping the 150. Either way I will probably wait until Spring to do anything with the new tank. Thoughts?

How much are you getting it for is the question? For reference, I bought my used 125 with dual overflows, stand, 45 gallon sump, return pump, most of the plumbing, lighting, and UV for $300.

    LOL, free....

Comes with the stand, some heaters and other various FW items.

I have seen it running a few years ago. But I don't remember what it looks like.

Well free is a no brainer! But it is not drilled then I am guessing. If that's the case, I would try and sell it and get one that is drilled IMO. Either way, that is a good freebie!!

I picked it up today. No it's not drilled, but I can have that done through the back, but I'm not sure how to setup a 150. I'm not sure a singe hole in the back of the tank is going to be enough. The front, as the previous owner had it setup, it scratched a bit, but the back is virtually scratch free. I am going to re finish my basement and put it down there since that is where I spend most of my time. My current tank is upstairs, but I am afraid the weight of this one is going to be too much without bracing the floor.
