    Hi everyone,

I haven't been on here for what seems an eternity but it's nice to see some familiar names and a ton of new people. So after several years of being out of the game, I finally started a new tank. We'll see how it goes and in the mean time I'll have a look around cause holly crap things have changed around here (great job Matt!).

    Cheers,

    Marc

    Thanks guys...

    I'm actually going small, 10 gal nano. It's funny cause contrary to most, I started with a 120 to a 55 to a 20 and now a 10 :-s

It is only "temporary" until I finish the basement and then the real toy will be coming, I'm thinking something in the 350 - 400 gal range.

So here it is (water still a little cloudy as I added the sand yesterday)

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1424901922.939804.jpg

    As for specs:

    10 gal tank
    12 lbs LR
    12 lbs LS
    75w cobalt heater
    Tunze turbelle 6015
    Maxspect Celestial 70w LED spotlight

There's a small HOB filter on the side juste to filter out some sand dust. No skimmer yet as I'm still trying to find one that would fit and actually work.

    Cheers,

    Marc

Trust me, it's not. I'm having a hard time fitting everything in as is. I had this laying around so that's why I used it but knowing myself, I'll probably cave in the near future and get something a little bigger like a cube.

I had the exact same observation - looks a lot bigger than 10 gallons. Nice little start up!
