    Has your LFS helped you in any way? Have they used this skimmer before? Are they willing to exchange it for another type of skimmer? Try contacting the company for tech. support.

    I Will contact rsm on monday....I just cant believe they would charge this much for a piece of kit which then needs modifying, it beggars belief !

    are you sure its the skimmer making the bubbles? disconnect the skimmer for a day to see if the bubbles go away. if not you probably have line problems. if the bubbles go away can you re-route the skimmer discharge or place a baffle to re-route the bubbles to the surface.

    It is definately the skimmer. The design of the unit makes it impossible to modify. Tried putting pieces of foam on outlet chamber of skimmer and all that does is raise h20 level in skimmer and flood collection cup. See red sea prism skimmers and then imagine one built into the back of a unit with very little space to modify anything. Honestly I really do appreciate all suggestions but unless you know the unit I am talking about advice is useless
