Zoas, palys, both will go well in your tank. Palys are just bigger. Both grow like weeds. Go for it and good luck!

thanks lol i really don't like weed type corals but zoas and palys are better than gsp, xenia, and shrooms :) i can't wait till saturday. I'm getting a bunch of new things this week. Along with getting my CUC i will also be getting new test kits and a refractometer :D lol i just hope my pay check is big enough to pay off the majority of my credit card :D

They're pretty in my opinion. Plus they don't grow as fast as Xenia, GSP, etc. Those are just invasive. Zoas will spread, but not as fast as the others - slowly but steadily. I have several varieties in my tank.

Save your self some money and buy one polyp or two polyps. Youd be wasting your money if you bought more imo. They do grow nice and steady. With in one year you will have a nice size colony. For example I bout one polyp about a year ago. Now I have 50+ polyps.

sweet, i'm excited to watch them grow.

Quick question, i have my light scheduled to be on for 7 hours. Do i need to lengthen the time since i will be having corals or is 7 hours okay

5 or 6 is good to... just dont buy huge colonies that are expensive.

ok :D gah lol i can't wait until saturday, i can really buy it earlier but i want to wait for my clean up crew to get here and try to eat some of the algae on the rocks before i get my coral, if the CUC arrives on friday they will have about 24hrs to get rid of some of the algae :)
