getting my first tang??

    hey guys

    just wonderin iv got 2 clown, 1 basilisk, and 2 shrimps so far

    was thinkin about getting my first tang ideally i want a yellow and blue tang

    which won is the best 2 have first??

    I have the same Q as above..But the yellow tangs are hardier then the blue hippos. Yellow tangs dont get ich as easy as the hippos but both are quite easy. Get the hippo when it is about 3-4" if possible, dont get the TINY lil ones, if they are 4-6" its less likely they will get ich since their slime coat has more time to develop. But its still a chance they will get it.

    me tank is the river reef 94

    i wana get the blue tang from finding nemo, i no they get big but will take ages im sure from like 4"5". can always give it 2 a mate when it gets massive.

    Never mind, it's 94 liters, NO tang should go in there no matter how small.

    I would wait until the 4 month mark at least before I added a tang

    Not sure what you really mean to say a basilisk is a lizard and as stated above your tank is too small for a tang.:confused:
