 Sunday I'm going to pick up a 75 gallon Dutch Aquarium Systems. I've looked all over the net for info about this tank. It LOOKS nice, and I'm getting it for a nice price BUT... The seller tells me it has an "under tank filtration system" I'm guessing that's a wet/dry filter?? I'm hoping I can mod this and put a sump/refugium down there. It also has a protein skimmer. This I did find a little info about... just that its a good skimmer. Does anyone know about the lighting fixtures on these bad boys? Will I be able to simply swap bulbs or will it involve more than that? Thanks for reading!!

Im thinking he might also mean an undergravel filter system which you would want to toss right away.

Turns out its not drilled, It does have some sort of filter in the cabinet underneath. It has two 48" bulbs in it currently. I hope it's not hard to swap out fixtures and use the same hood.

You should be able to take out teh normal lights im assuming he has in there and either A. add a retro kit or B. buy a nice fixture and get ride of the hood.

Stonewilled, please take some pictures of the lighting on it, and the under tank filtration.

If it has a skimmer on it, unless that is the skimmer in the back left of the tank, then I am confused as to it not being drilled. That on the back pane looks to be an overflow wier.

Are these your pics, or the guy selling them?
