Getting purple lobster have questions

im supposed to be getting a purple lobster tonight but the guy said it turned white 3 months after he got it and is tryn to say its rare but sounds funny to me anyone know anything about these guys

 

I don't know much about them, but honestly, if the name of the animal is "Purple Lobster" I would like it to be purple. Maybe it's getting ready to molt? Sounds like they want to get rid of it otherwise. I would not take the chance if I was in your place.

I would avoid as well, I hope he is not asking any money for it. Rare white lobster, I am thinking more lobster not getting enough of the tace elements it needs to molt correctly.

It will kill snails, shrimp, crabs, & fish if they are small enough.
