Getting rid of anenome

i would like to get rid of this guy or move him to my 10g tank because he travels alot and likes to hang around the corals to much the other one in the full tank pic the bigger one stays put and doesnt bother the xenias or whatever to much so he can stay for now but whats the best way ive tried holding them above water and no luck any other options?

 

He's moving around because he is not happy. He's probally seeking more light,or more room. Either way a 10 gal tank is to small for him. Take him to your lfs and see if you can trade for something else or give him to some one who can care for him properly. I took a closer look at that anemome, That isnt aphagsia is it? if it is joes juice on both will work just fine.

 

Kinda looks like a large very large Aiptasia doesn't it? Not sure from the pictures, but I have heard never seen a LFS selling them as "Glass Anemone" If it is and it is moving .....move him right over to the commode and give him a free Nemo ride to the ocean. But verify what type of nem it is first, never seen a clown in an aiptasia

 

I agree. That is odd.

Looks like a pest anemone to me, but the clowns are hosting in it. Then again, clowns will host in powerheads.

 

Looks like it might be majano, looks a bit different from the aiptasia I'm used to. Here's another person with them, looks pretty similar.

it is supposed to be a long tentacle bubble tip but idk it was one of the first things i bought and now understand why alot of people dont have them in there reef tanks i was just gonna throw it into the 10g until i found someone who wants it most lfs here dont even want anenomes lol i wonder why. alot of my new corals arent opening up much since i got em they are probably adjusting but i know i do need more flow in the tank which will be taken care of this weekend all water tests came out perfect so im good there. sound right? should i try blowing the anenome off with turkey baster!
