Karlas inspired this topic :) In another post we were talking about feeding and she had some fun stories about her fish and how she takes advantage of each other's personalities to get them all fed.

In this topic I thought it would be fun to just tell and hear some fun stories about the personalities that live in our tanks. I personally havn't had my tank long enough but I think I can come up with one some time.

This will be a fun one

sounds like a cool topic. :thumbsup1: ive added a pair of engineer gobies young ones there scared to come out. they come out far enough to grab food as it floats by then back into the rock. im hoping they start showing themselves completely since they are a neat looking fish. when ever they stick there heads out the clown or lawnmower rush over to look at them and they hide also

Wow this is an OLD thread and a HUGE bump from me. Too bad it never got off the ground, but I do have a couple fish personalities that I could post about. For instance, before I got rid of my velvet damsel, to get my royal gramma some food, I would sprinkle food on the right side of the tank, then quickly get a pinch and dip it in the water on the left side to get it to float down to the gramma while the clown and damsel were busy eating the food on the right (the gramma is just way too timid). Also, I have found that it's not necessary for me to place silversides on my anemones' tentacles anymore. I simply drop them into the tank, and my clown literally takes them to the anemone for me!

I have a maroon clownfish since she was a baby. I got her used to being hand feed. Whenever I put my hands in the tank to pick up a coral that fell, she will follow my hand thinking that I'm going to feed her. I use a green medicine dropper to feed her most of the time, and as soon as that dropper is in the tank she swims fast to it and eats. I will post some pictures of her eating from the dropper.
