GFCI help...please!

    GFCI Receptacle Tester as you have an electrician already coming out you'll have your problem solved, but if you ever face the problem again this is an inexpensive way to go gfcis are designed to sense an unbalanced load in the neutral

    As I plan my tank, someone suggested to me that I install regular circuits for my setup not GFCI. Obviously the GFCI provide some additional measure of safety for the house and its occupants but if the GFIs trip for some random reason, then you are without power to some potentially important equipment. A bad situation to have if you are gone for the weekend.
    My current plan is to have two 20 amp circuits each with 4-gang outlets.

    I actualy put in 2 thin 20 amp breakers and wired for for 8 outlets
    ( not gfis ) just made sure each outlet was actualy gorounded.
