    I spilled some GFO on a magnetic algae clip. It sure isn't fun trying to get it off. If I had the higher water flow of my outside hose it would help but there's 10 inches of snow on the ground out there.

    However the next time I see a post that says, "Help, I spilled GFO in my tank", I'll tell them to drop their magnet algae scraper in the sump...problem solved. LOL

    Ferrous oxide, attracted to a magnet? You don't say? ::)

    Seriously though, it's a good tip, since most people wouldn't realize it. I know I didn't even think about it until just now.
