I have 125 mixed reef with 6 fishes. Overall I'm pretty happy. For last 3 years I Keept successfully SPS. They were growing like crazy. But for period of last 6 months I lost almost all of them. Nothing change in my routine. First bleached out Green Birds Nest, then Brown, then one Pocilopora then anotherother, then Stylopopora. When they start bleaching it goes so fast. I think I will gave up on them. Like I said nothing change for last 3 years. I use 150w MG with 54w T-5., return pump Mag 12, 4-Koralia power heads. Dump with fuge also run Carbon. My phosfate test shows 0. I checked for bugs, did not see any. Checked with volt meter for shortage maybe. Shows 0. I know people saying you neef to run GFO to keep SPS corals. Is that right, if yes what's the easiest set up? Phosban reactor in the dump with pump? Thanks.

GFO just solves a problem that without you exact numbers on everything I would say in not needed.

    what is you numbers on:

    rate
    rite
    phos
    amm
    mag
    salinity
    cal
    kh

also what if anything do you dose and feed?

Rate- my turnover rate is only 550g/h. Some say it is enough some not. I run Mag 12 as return pump but it pumps thru chiller and lot elbows. I ordered Reef Octopus HY7000 anyway and I will try that pump. People saying whats important is flow inside tank. For that i have 4-Koralias 1400g/h.
Nitrite- 0, Phosfate-0, Amonia-0, Magnesium-1260, Salnity-1.025, Calcium-400, Kh-9,10. I do those tests every week, all the same. That is why I'm so disappointed. Just want to give up on them. But if any good advice, some ideas? Im not giving up. Still growing and really happy branching Acropora, really like her. Looks great.Any advice? thanks in advance!!!!

mag is literally about 40 low but not a huge deal IMO

everything else seems to be at par so no issues with lvls, oh and I ment nitrate but the flow was my next question so thats good ;D

the only thing I can see is that the sps might be to close the the LPS such as teh frogspawn in pic 2 but again not compleatly sure.

lighting is my next question how often do you change teh bulbs and are they the exact temp or did you mave to another brand/color temp?

What kind of test kits are you using? Do you have any algae issues?

Nitrate- 0. Couple months ago i changed MH from Usho to Phoenix and T-5s from ATI to Giesmann. But whole bleaching process started like 5 months ago. Like i said it started with one coral and goes to another couple weeks next etc. Thats i thought some parasites, bugs travel from one to another, but i could not see anything. It is so frustrating, I would do anything to fix this but i do not know what.

No algae issues. API for nitrite, nitrate, ammonia, calcium, phosphate. Red Sea for PH. Salifert for Magnesium, Alkalinity. Refractometer for Salnity.
