So I've been running this tank since february 2011, ive asked alot of questions since then to make an ok 5g pico so heres some pictures, it looks better in real life haha blackberry camera.

This was when i first cycled it, i bought a bundle of chaetomorpha to seed the tank instead of liverock.

My equipment, i have an AquaClear20, with only the sponge then 2 layer of super micro filterpads by Rena which is cut out to fit the filter, then eggcrate to hold it down, then some chaetomorpha to export nutrients. the heater is a Marineland VTMD10 which is only 10watts which is not enough to keep it at a constant 78' but strong enough to keep temp from swinging too fast, i like it cuz at night it slowly drops to 74' then daytime its at 78-80 depending if i leave the window open, i like it like that cuz its like it real life when the sun drops.

corals are doing fine, zoas are budding and my sps seems to extend more at night then daytime, is it because the light is too intense? should i raise it? top off is like 8oz a day or so, about a cup

Judging from your images, the sps have good PE, especially considering that they are probably still acclimating to some degree. Some of my sps show better PE at night. As long as they are not loosing color I would leave the fixture where it currently is.
