GHA and mollies?

    Was woundering, I have GHA and was woundering if I got mollies (freshwater and acclimated them to salt) if they would take care of some of it? Iv heard they eat algea but wasnt sure. Whats your input? Was also thinking of getting a phos. reactor, would it help that much?

    I acclimated 2 mollies. They grazed on it, but not much. I’ve herd Mexican turbo snails are good for gha.

    I've got a molly that I use to cycle new tanks.. It's done four for me so far. But the tank he is in now has a little GHA and he won't touch it. It's a golden one. My LFS lady called it a sailfin molly

    I have 2 mollies in my nano that I cycled with (1 sailfin & one marble lyretail) and will cycle my 46 with them as well...they'll graze on the algae but I wouldn't count on them to rid you of it. Personally I think they're more likely to eat your Chaeto if it's in with them than the GHA.:-/
