If a manufacturer was to offer an acrylic frag tank that came in 3 sizes, 16"X16"x8"

    24"X24"X8"

    36"X36"X8"

Plus was pre drilled for a bean style overflow and return.

All plumbing was included for valve(s) and the return. All you would need is the line to and from your sump.

And could very easily be set up next to and tied into your existing system via the your sump.

Would you buy one if the price was affordable?

Im not sure if I would buy one but then again I dont have a display. Just frag tanks currently. I think it would be a great idea and more reefers should definitely think about having prop sections of their systems.

One feature I left out is a wall to wall built in removable frag rack.

That would be AWESOME. For my frag system thus far my frag rack was a pain and a half to make. But that is really my own fault for the way I did it.

Yeah I hear ya. I welded mine in and am paying for it now. I should've put more thought into that. ;D

I would absolutely buy! I have to make some room first though haha

    Two questions...
    1. are you making them and selling? because if so then I can expect them to be high quality AND priced nicely. (how much are we talking?)
    2. The dimensions listed are really attractive. only question I have is- can they be made deeper, like maybe 10" or 12"? (the extra few inches makes a lot of difference when elevating frags so that flow pumps can be placed underneath)

    1. It depends on interest if I'll get the backing I need. I would like to see these available for less than $350 for the large tank. But that is an issue that hasn't been discussed.

    2. Flow pumps wouldn't be needed. Split, flared returns should keep all areas of the tank in good flow and prevent settling of any junk that may be pulled into the tank from the sump. Shallower = less cost to manufacture and lower light output needed which helps keep the overall cost to the hobbyist down over the long term.
