I regret that I couldn't take a picture everytime the camera light comes on to focus they hide but they look like giant pods or tiny shrimp. They are see through and I find them dead floating around every so often. Tonight i decided to turn my flashlight on and saw them all over my zoos anyone have a clue or a picture of what they are? If so are they harmful or harmless?

There's a very good chance that it's an amphipod. amphipod - Google Search

If so it's harmless. They eat microalgaes, uneaten fish food and other detritus, smaller copepods and isopods, not corals. There is a species of isopod that can get as big as amphipods and will eat corals. Luckily, they are rarely seen in the hobby. More than likely, it's an amphipod that is performing a valuable service....it's cleaning detritus out from in between the polyps.

The "dead ones" are probably just moltings BTW. My plumbing gets full of them and then when I do a water change, or mess with the sump there are hundreds of molting floating around everywhere LOL.

amphipod it is! Thanks guys it looked like something out of a horror film lol. I used my flashlight and i saw a buch of them scatter back into the LR I had never seen them in action before. I even saw some weird worm swimming around like a snake i took that out real quick. I always see something new in the middle of the night when it's lights out and I get a flashlight. thanks again guys I wanted to make sure it was nothing

If the "snake" was swimming like it was on Meth or Crack, leave those in there the next time you see it. It's just a bristleworm epitoke in the last stages of it's reproductive cycle. They only reproduce when there's enough food (detritus, un-eaten fish food, dead snails, etc). They are an excellent member of your clean-up crew.
