Giant Zebra Turban Snail

I love my giant zebra turban snail. I have never had such a good cleaner.

My pet store gave me sheets of seaweed to feed it when there is very little cleaning left to be done. I didn't want him to starve.

My question is how, & how & how much ,do you feed it.

I put in a full sheet in the first time &, with an elastic band, attached it to a rock. The snail ignored it even when I put him on it. It just broke up through the tank.

The next morning I thought I had lost everything. The water was so milky you couldn't see through it & the surface was covered with bubbles. I did a large water change & cleaned the filter. I lost no one & the aquarium is back to normal.

But, back to my question. When I do have to feed my turban, how do I do it ? How much do I give him & how do do I make sure he gets it before the other inhabitants ?

 

You can try to feed it like you did that would be your best hope. As for quantity i would just do very small squares and hope it gets to them.
