Sounds like the Mh industry's answer to the Solaris LED light systems.

 

That is a really nice fixture if you want to drop some serious coin.

 

I see it and like what I see.............
How in the world can they justify that crazy price of 2848 dollars.
If any one buys that, it would seem to me that they can afford to throw away more money than I can

WOW, that is nice, talk about state of the art. But at $2800.00 ...WOW I think that my whole system hasnt cost that much, not even close!!! They are nice thou.

Let's keep this thead about the Giesemann Moonlight Infiniti.

Sure this light is expensive, but so are Ferrari's. Ferrari's have features you won't find on your Honda.
Look at the features on this light, they would be extremely difficult to DIY and would not be cheap.

 

OK on topic, When it comes right down to it, It is a 2 x 250 hqi metal halide with actinic supplementation and moonlight leds. What makes it special is all the microprocessor controls and failure alarms, lights, bells, and whistles. Really nothing more than what most of us have already
I had a light failure today on one of my MH's. There's your programmed cloudy day. Last week I had an actinic failure, another programmed cloudy day.
I think its time to buy a couple of new lights. Thanks for the link Matt :-[
Supply and demand plus an assembly line will bring the price down. Look at LCD TV's they have dropped almost 2/3 price in the last 2 1/2 years.
