Hope you get well. Cant think of a better gift for yourself than something for the tank. :)

Thanks for all the supportive words. It really helped to read these when I woke up this morning feeling horrible - made me smile. So thank you, thank you!

Would I need to worry about overheating?

See my link above. I just have a small fan that blows across the surface, no heat issues and no chiller. :)

Oh, well that doesn't sound so bad. I just am not willing to purchase a chiller, but a little fan, that I can do. I will look into those. I'll check out the link. Thanks!!

Oooh...I like the price of that fixture!

    Fluorescent Aquarium Lighting: Cooling Fans

One or two of those depending on how hot you keep your house works nicely. The two fan unit is the way to go . .. the 2 fan unit moves 31.57 CFM, and the 4 fan moves 38.56 CFM - so buy 2 (2) fan units and move lots of air :)

Thanks. I don't keep the house very warm - usually 68 or 69 degrees. I do not like being hot! :p

Yep, you're hot enough as is. :D Just have the fan kick in when the halides kick in ;)
