    thx for the advice everyone. I have to agree that an overstocked tank can be maintained in a healthy manner but will think about some re-structuring so I don't cause any probs down the line. I kept african cichlids before going SW for the first time and I would overstock like crazy 30+ but it was a whole different ballgame.

    9 fish in a 55.....nice, busy tank. I like it.

    I have
    2 clowns
    hippo tang
    8" engineer goby
    mandarin
    blue/pink spotted goby w/ pistol
    3 chromis
    Firefish

    10 fish in a 72 with a 20g sump. I consider myself very overstocked so I set up a new tank. Its a 30g. I'll be moving the clowns over and probably the firefish because those are the only 3 fish I could catch.

    Just keep up with your skimming, water changes and testing. You will know when the fish need a new home. You seem pretty responsible, just addicted.
