no, but why are you asking? are you having problems or something? or just curious? any RO/DI unit will be much better than grocery water... which is ironic because i use grocery water too!

I have ALOT of crap in my water, because i live on a well sort of, and i really dont trust an ro/di unit with my water.

ahhh i see, lets put it this way, I've been using the same machines(now brand new actually!) from my grocery store for about 5 years or so, and ive never had a problem, TDS has never been high, and ive never had an algae issue due to the water. I go to the rich persons grocery store so they take EXCELLENT care of their machines... heck with the prices those poeple pay for some of that food i wonder if gold will ever come out of it ;D

A good RO/DI unit will be fine, the filters may not last as long with high tds, but it should work like everyones elses. If you are really worried, get one with 5 stages and one that produces less water per day, they tend to be more thorough.

    I've just started.
I was using a "Culligan" dispenser at a recently opened "Wal mart Neighborhood Center" but, as I expected, the unit started being serviced less and less frequently.
I use a TDS meter, so I get a bit of an idea of the water's quality.
Glacier is slightly more expensive, but I do like that the dispensers I've seen have a display that lists the last time the unit was serviced. The one I've been visiting is serviced weekly, as opposed to the Culligan that was monthly(and then not at all).
I've called culligan twice to tell them to get their act together, finally just gave up and went to glacier.
    TDS always reads very low.
