I got about 10lbs or so of reef saver rock from BRS for my nano. I put in the comments that I was build a 10g nano and to please not give me one or two big rocks. They sent me a nice selection of a about 7-8 rocks that made a nice scape. Very pleased with that order!

It's not a bad way to go, but some of the rock I've gotten like this in the past had some nasty hitchhikers on it (Mantis). I'd rather go fully cured or dry and add in diversity from places like Indo Pacific Sea Farms.

I got my dry rock off Ebay for around $1.50 a pound shipped. This worked great when combined with nicer cured live rock.

Premium Aquatics had some really nice dry rock called Marco Key Largo Dry Rock that I noticed when I was up there last week. L-MARCO-DRY Premium Aquatics - L-MARCO-DRY Aquarium Supplies

It's a more expensive at $2.19 a pound for 40+ pounds plus shipping, but it was really porous.

Going to setup a 40 breeder with 50 lbs of Reefcleaner rock. And probably seed it with some sand a some rubble from the LFS. 50 lbs for $115 is heck of a lot cheaper than buying 50 lbs of live rock.
