Anyone know where to get the glass bafels for sumps? I tryed using plexi glas but it bows too much, I love the clean look of glass. My sump is going to be a 20L do you guys know where I can get the bafels custom made for a cheap price? If I go to a glass shop it will be probably be like 100$.

Shouldn't be that expensive at a glass shop for your needs. You should use 1/4" acrylic for the baffles.

yeah, mine were about 5 bucks each.

although i have heard of alot of glass sumps with aycrilic baffels, you have to be careful with thermal expansion rates (ha, sounds pretty offical i have no idea if thats what it is actually called) . glass and plastics expand and conrtact at different rates. then again i guess the temperature should be pretty steady. just keep it mind i may break the sump.

that will work, also see if they will polish the top edges of the baffles to prevent possible cuts while doing maintenance.

Your best option is to go to home depot...they sell acrylic that is about a 1/4'' thick in various sizes, plus a tool to cut it that is around $3.50.

I just picked up a couple of pieces for the sump I'm making and its working out great!
