Just curious as to what everyone uses to clean the outside glass of the aquarium?

White distilled vinegar. I avoid windex or any chemicals as I am afraid they will make it into my tank.

A good micro fiber towel. Nothing else...not even fresh water because that normally just causes smears. Use a razor blade to scrape off any salt creep then buff out fingerprints and such with the micro towel. Do thing same thing if you drip any salt water on the outside of the glass just wait for it to dry first. This works great for me and its pretty much free.

i use a softer dry towel. but, been thinking that a little winds on the towel might not hurt. as you kwinter id spray on the towel not the glass.

I use Windex Natural spray glass cleaner. I spray it close to the glass to prevent it from over-spraying into the tank. Then I use a squeegee to wipe it down, then go over once more with a micro-fiber cloth.

Paper towel damp with RO water. RO water wont normally leave smears unless it mixes with residue or salt creep from the glass. Sometimes I take one wet paper towel and go behind it with a dry. Not much to it really. :)
