glass cutting cost?

Does anyone have an idea how much it costs to have glass baffles cut for a refugium? I have no clue about glass cutting costs.

 

I got mine cut at Ace hardware for $15 bucks after tax - 4 baffles, 3 11 3/4x10 and 1 11 3/4x12.

 

most glass places include up to 4 cuts for free per sheet of glass. They usually won't guarantee better than 1/16" tolerance tho. If you need it really precise you need to let them know, and if they can't get it cut perfect they'll have to grind it a little bit, which if they're not busy is usually something they'll just do... if they charge it's usually only a few bucks.

FWIW tho, most professional glass cutters machines are pretty accurate to about 1/64"

 

econo glass i think is nation wide. Everytime ive had a custom glass job they've been super nice and super pro

 

went and had it cut at lowe's... Only had to pay for the glass which came to 11.60, had no idea its that cheap. ;D

 

Did you ask them to grind the edges? If no they'll have places that are sharp as razors so be careful.
