    fighting for oil. All kidding aside, that is drilling, since the the bit used to core into the earth is a bit that cuts into the earth and diverts it away with the blades of the bit.

    lol well guys, thanks for the info on this. the bottom of my glass tank is not tempered and I am going to have my brother drill the holes for me, he's done it a bunch of times in his line of work. Thanks for the video it was informational. also you guys are a riot. so basically you're drilling with a bit that is grinding the glass away to ultimately cut a hole in the glass is what I got from all of this. lol :)
