just a little adivice, drilling glass can be very difficult, one way to help avoid cracks or breaks is to put tape, such as masking tape, all over the area, this will help prevent stress cracks and such

I'd recommend having a good glass shop do it. Most decent glass shops will drill a tank, at a reasonable price.

I drilled the holes for my sump/tank on my own. I bought the bits on ebay, I got a 1.5" & 1.75" for $23 shipped. I was not nearly as hard as everyone told me it was going to be.

Put duct tap on the inside of the glass (opposite of where you are starting the hole), build up a dam with plumbers putty around the hole you are going to drill, fill the dam up with cold water, hold the drill/glass bit at an angle to get the hole started, the slowly/gently lower the whole bit to the flat position and start drilling. Go slow, keep your drill speed slow, and rinse/replenish your cold water multiple times through the drilling.

There are several videos on youtube, just do a search and you will find them.

+1 just did 5 holes in my 75, never did it before and found that is was simple. But I will add something to this better than using the dam method, if you can do it where you can use a slow running hose its better. I found that if you keep the grove that the bit is cutting clean it cuts faster and cleaner.

I also found after the first hole that if you hold a piece of 2x4 against the glass behind the hole your cutting the glass will not chip at all. First cut I got a few chunks of glass that broke off, but the last 5 I used the 2x4 and they are really smooth, no chips at all.

I bought the cheapest bits I could find on ebay and they worked fantastic and are still in really good shape.
