Glass top or not?

    Do you use a glass top or not? :-/ I guess the obvious advantage would be the fish not jumping out...

    I was trying to figure out what to do about my lighting - I'm intested in doing LR/fish/soft corals and was looking at the Nova Sundial T5. I didn't even think about the glass top, but some of the T5 canopy light fixtures said to only use with a glass top - I think I'm a bit confused! :confused: None of the tanks in my LFS had glass tops (marine only store). I was in there yesterday and didn't even think to ask about it!

    Also, the light I was looking at is 36-1/8 inches. My tank is exactly 36-3/8 inches. Will it fit??

    lighting

    You tanks temp will get to hot with a glass top on and not enough light penetration. The fixture will fit the legs should adjust

    Doesn't the lighting fixture have a shield to prevent from splash and salt creep?
