I picked up some frag rack drippings (lfs scoops up all the various loose zoos and such and gives them to me for $5.00) anyway I was using the gel glue to affix them to a rock and one of the pieces was smaller than usual and I'm pretty sure I glued it shut. Naturally it was closed up so I didn't actually get any on the very tip or on the "flower". Any chance of survival or should I just write the little guy off?

Rule of thumb, never do tank work when you're in a hurry and irritated with your wife.

It'll probably slime up and then the glue will pop off. Good luck

yep, give it a few days or even a week and it should open up. You can be a little bit aggressive with these and take some tweezers to pull the glue off. HTH

Wow, that's nice, Steve (getting them for $5). Every LFS here puts them in a breeder box with rubble...no cheapies around here! LOL

It's been great, it's allowed me to seed my tank with a variety so far for the $15.00 I've gotten a sponge, three mushrooms and probably 35 zoa polyps and about half a dozen palys.

About 13 of the 20 polyps are open this morning so I'll keep watching them and hope they all recover.

if need be I'll tweezer 'em.

It has been a good deal for me for sure as fast as they reproduce in no time I'll be looking good.

i think he's willing to do it because I do about 99% of my fish shopping in there because he's the only place in town that I trust to get healthy livestock from.

If i ever get a frag tank I'm going to go crazy in there and get all the sweepings he's willing to part with.

Figured I would update everybody on how that little zoa I glued shut was doing. It was literally just a couple of polyps when I glued it shut here it is now.
