    Hey everyone.

I am in the middle of a DIY project and my LFS said weld on #16 will work to weld acrylic to PVC.

This seems logical to me as both dissolve in acetone, but I just wanted to double check with you guys.

I have never tried it, but I'm with you that it should work for that reason. you have any scrap you can try and glue first?

You can glue pvc to abs, because they both can be melted by a common substance, I say it should work.

Weldon 16 is awesome cement!!yes it will cement pvc to acrylic.I had to seal an pvc standpipe to my acrylic tank.Just make sure its where and how you want it because you wont be able to undo it.Not without doing some damage anyway.

I almost glued my ruler to acrylic last week. I think it should work.
