Whats up reefers! This is my first build/ fish tank and I couldn't be more stoked. I wasn't really planning on starting with a 150gal but a great deal showed up on the cl and I jumped onboard. This is going to be a awesome learning process and I am banking on using the knowledge here on 3reef to make this a successful build.

I just got most everything moved into my house so I going to be making an inventory of what I purchased.

And of course taking lots of pictures!

Awesome! Big is a good way to start so u won't have to upgrade right away.I have a 40 gallon now and want to upgrade to a 93 gallon cube.can't wait to see what u do with it.remember the most important thing is to go slow

First pics! So far we have reinforced our stand, some structural pieces had water damage. The tank has been cleaned with water to remove any stuck on residue. Used a razor blade on the back glass to remove what im guessing is calcium left over from the previous use.

I've read that the tank must be perfectly level to prevent leaks. The first photo is the front to rear level. The second is the left to right. The tank has a slight forward lean to it, if you look carefully you can notice that the bubble is not perfectly centered. Is this a problem?

How do we embed the photos?

The sand is from the previous owners set up. Is it a alright to reuse this sand? I like the black sand, so I must likely would add more to this existing layer.

Also a pic of the protein skimmer, (Nautilus Te) two pumps which I can't identify, (E160713 Model 9.5 B Utility Pump), and two power heads.

Is there a limit to how many photos we can upload in a day?
