so i bought a matched orange spotted goby and tiger snapping shrimp pair from liveaquaria....it was only $5 more than buying each separately, so i figured i might as well do it

these two are hilarious. the goby and shrimp got together within minutes of putting them in the tank....the shrimp tried 3 burrows before he finally settled on one. the one he made is MASSIVE. it has about 4 exits, and is under about 3 pieces of rock

anyway, ive been trying to get a picture of them together, which is hard....they are both really skiddish. but i finally managed to get one. i love these little guys!

if it is the pair i am thinking of, i saw that offering on liveaquaria :)

Nice additions to your tank! They will warm up over time, if you can get your head under the tank and look up at the bottom from inside the stand, you will see just how busy that little shrimp really is :)

    enjoy!

Very awesome. Can you tell us some more about your tank? How about a full tank shot?

Is the goby you have a sand sifting type of goby?

    Does it eat prepared foods?

I only ask because if they rely on sand for their food you may not have enough living goodies in your sand to support it.
