Mysis is always a good base. I would alternate with or mix with a carnivore blend.

Mysis is my favorite all-around food, for nearly anything of a size to eat it. Mix in nearly anything else. I mix in oyster eggs, marine fusion and the coral food occasionally.

When I get an algae eating fish, I'm going to add h20life fish and reef #1 and #2, to the mix.

Yeah, carnivore food, they're both meat eaters. Mysis shrimp is best and can be used as 90% of what you feed them. I would just throw in a lil something extra occasionally for variety.

Formulas are a good second food, I'm with everybody on the Mysis base... soak in vitamins if you wana get real hardcore lol... mysis and flake/pellet would probably be "ok", just depends on how healthy and happy you want your fish...
