Well wanted to see if anyone can help me with an identification. It was sold to me as a hovering goby from a rare japanese shipment. This is what i was told, I'm trying to find out what scientific name and proper name. Close ones ive found are reef goby, red eyed goby, purple lined goby. This fish has a very unique coloration, and attitude. It remains in a verticle incline postition most of the time, it loves to perch on walls, rocks, and acros. It went and spent the first few days hiding out with my pistol shrimp and since then i have never seen him with him since, this goby always remains in visible site.

Pics were hard to get. this guy is .5" to.75" big.
