Hey guys, this might be a miracle goby or something. Long story short. I had a 29 gallon biocube tank with a pistol shrimp and wathcman goby. If anyone doesnt know how the oceanic biocube works, well theres an overflow "sump" right behind the tank. I have recently saved the goby twice as he has jumped over the wall into the sump where there is very litle water.
Anyways, 6 days ago i moved my stuff into my 55 gallon because im not allowed to run two tanks anymore and my cycling was finished. I moved everything from fish corals to inverts but i could not find my goby. I looked under all the sand and in the back filter where he usually was. I had turned the water and heater off in the biocube as nothing was in it anymore and i RIPed my goby.
Sooo today i finally decided to clean my tank and as i was taking apart the filter in the back There was goby, in an area with no water except enough to cover him (he could not swim cause of the aprt he was in), he had no food for 6 days, and the water was approximately 68 degrees.
So i quickly moved him to my 55 and he couldnt swim at all and his breathing was almost unnoticable. 5 minutes later he had paired back up with my pistol shrimp!!!!

NOW THAT IS CRAZEEE; Is he a survivor or what???

Wish someone else has a survival story as good as mine. Its weird because he literally had enough water just to be wet, not even move.

    I shall name him GOD

We had a pinkbar goby paired up with our tiger pistol. He jumped out the back of the tank. And died. :p

Our Yellow Watchman we replaced him with is much better though. He can disappear for 5 days at a time and NOT end up dead :D Good goby.

That's an awesome story. He must have wanted to live pretty darn bad.

It doesnt take luck to survive, hes a trooper. Little bugger is kickin' hard now, paired back up with his shrimp buddy. And the goby isnt shy anymore, hes out and about all the time now.
