goby with new pistol?

    Hey all...idk how it happened, but somehow my pistol shrimp ended up in the venturi of the skimmer - he would have had to go through all plumbing, fuge and baffles to get there - but anyhow, he didnt survive.

    My question is this - he was paired with a pink barred goby. Can I just get a new pistol shrimp and will he pair up with the goby? Poor "cheech" is looking really lost without "chong".

    btw, the orginial shrimp was already paired with the goby at the lfs.

    Anybody else have any thoughts? Not that I disagree with Luna, just wanted to get some more input.

    For what its worth, I woke up this morning to find both the diamond and pink barred goby sleeping side by side in the same burrow.
